What these boards compare

Starter classes are ranked by how forgiving the first Act 1 prompts are. Early talents are ranked by whether a new hero should keep the roll. Race evolution and Super branches are left off the board because the live panel changes the result.

S tier

starter-classesWarriorMelee base with the simpler attack prompt and enough defense to survive a missed block while you learn Sunmeadow Wilds.

Player decision Best first lock for a solo Normal run. Super branches later are Berserk, Sentinel, or Greatsword, and that choice is permanent.

A tier

starter-classesBardSupport base with healing and songs on the starting kit, so you are not waiting for a Super class to recover.

Player decision Pick Bard for a party or if you want sustain more than burst. Solo clears are reported to be slower.

B tier

starter-classesArcherRanged crit and speed. Some editor lists rank Archer beside Warrior for damage. This board only scores the first Normal run, where a missed defense still hurts.

Player decision Take Archer after you can land defense prompts. Distance does not replace the dodge.

starter-classesFistCombo strikes that grow if you keep connecting. Stonekin adds max HP and 15% Fist damage.

Player decision A good second hero if you like short, repeated timing checks. Pair the class with Stonekin when you roll it.

starter-classesMageStaff spells and later Cleric, Hexer, or Summoner. The base kit spends Energy and has less room for a missed block.

Player decision Lock Mage if you already want those Super branches. Bring Arcane Spark or Vesper when you have them. Do not make Mage the hero that teaches you the prompt.

C tier

starter-classesThiefDagger crit, traps, and marked targets. The payoff depends on clean timing.

Player decision Wait until Act 1 prompts feel routine. One editorial list ranks Thief much lower for beginners for this reason.

FAQ

Pixel Lineage [DUNGEONS+ HOLLOWEEN+RACE EVO] ranking questions

Where do I redeem codes?

Like and Favorite the experience, join the Pixel Lineage Roblox community, then open the Goblin Merchant in the Castle and redeem one exact string at a time. OCTOBER is the only code printed on the official description.

What is Pixel Lineage?

Pixel Lineage is a fast turn-based roguelike RPG on Roblox, published by the Pixel Lineage community. The official description says it is inspired mostly by Terraria, is not meant to be easy, updates weekly, and can have bugs in this early release. The current title also names Dungeons, Halloween (spelled HOLLOWEEN), and Race EVO.

What happens when a hero runs out of lives?

Each hero starts with three lives. Defeat can spend a life when you return home. Guides agree that gear left on the hero is at risk and that the Inn stash, repaired Castle buildings, Ranch pets, and Hall of Lineage rank stay. Reports disagree on whether that hero's race and talent survive a wipe, so read the death prompt before you confirm.

Can I change my base class?

No class-change button is described. The base class is chosen in the Castle after race and talent. Super class is a later, permanent branch at the Trainer's Shrine in Act 2, not a swap into another base. There is no separate subclass tier.

Is the tier list official?

No. The starter-class and early-talent boards are editor suggestions for a first Normal run. They are not damage meters, and they will not match every endgame ranking.
